SOLUTION ☺️

Let a and b be two numbers such that a>b.

=) a-b= 6...........(1)

=) a+b/2= 8

=) a+b= 16...........(2)

On solving equation (1)&(2) we get

a= 11 and b= 5

Hence, the required numbers are 11 and 5.

Hope it helps ✔️

Answer:

numbers are 5,6,7,8,9,10,11

X=11 ;Y=5

Step-by-step explanation:

let \: two \: number \: be \: x \: and \: y \\ then \\ x - y = 6 -  -  -  -  - (1) \\ arithmetic.mean =  \frac{x + y}{2}  = 8 \\ x + y = 16 \\ x = 16 - y -  -  -  -  - (2) \\ putting \: value \: of \: x \: in \: (1) \\ x - y = 6 \\ 16 - y - y = 6 \\  - 2y =  - 10 \\ y = 5 \\ putting \: value \: of \: y \: in \: (1) \\ x - y = 6 \\ x - 5 = 6 \\ x = 11

numbers are 5 to 11 i.e 5,6,7,8,9,10,11
