Let the first number be a
Second number = a - 2
According to question,
a × (a - 2) = 120
=> a^2 - 2a - 120 = 0
=> a^2 - 12a + 10a - 120 = 0
=> a (a - 12) + 10(a - 12) = 0
=> (a-12) (a +10) = 0
a = 12 and - 10
