according to question

X –Y = 0.6 .....(1)

and

X/Y = 0.6

=> X = 0.6 Y .....(2)

now from equation (1)& (2)

0.6 + Y = 0.6Y

Y –0.6 Y = – 0.6

0.4 Y = – 0.6

Y = –6/4

Y = –1.5

and X = –0.9
