It is given y - x = 66…….(1)

x : y = 2 : 5…….(2)

So, 2y = 5x

y = 5x/2 = 2.5x

Substituting the value of y in 1

2.5x - x = 66

1.5x = 66

x = 66/1.5 = 44

Substituting the value of x in (1)

y - 44 = 66

y = 44 + 66 = 110
