Let the smaller number be "x".

Larger number = (-4/6)

Their difference = (-6/25)

∴ Smaller number =

  =  >    \frac{ - 4}{6}  - x =  \frac{ - 6}{25}  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 4}{6}  +  \frac{6}{25}  \\  =  >  \frac{( - 4 \times 25) + (6 \times 6)}{6 \times 25}  \\  =  >  \frac{ - 100 + 36}{150}  \\  =  >  \frac{ - 64}{150}  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 32}{75}
