we know that the circumference of a circle is given by 2*pi*r
let the radius of the circle be r
according to the problem the diff between circumference and radius is 37
=>2*pi*r-r=37
r((2*3.14)-1)=37
5.28r=37
r=7
as the area of the circle is given by pi*r*r
area=3.14*7*7
=153.86 sq.cm
