heyya here u go :-

there are 4 layers in our atmosphere... which are given below....

1. Troposphere -

It is the first layer of the Earth's atmosphere and it extends up to 10–15km above the Earth's surface. The temperature goes on decreasing when you go on moving up in the troposphere. Troposphere contains more than 75% of the total mass of the atmosphere. Troposphere is wider at the equator than at the poles.

2. Stratosphere -

It is the second layer of the earth atmosphere and is extends up to 15–45km from the earth's surface. Ozone layer is found in this layer. Stratosphere is cooler at the bottom but when the body goes up in the direction of stratosphere temperature rises continuously.

3. Mesosphere -

This layer is just above the earth's surface and is extending up to 50–80km above the earth's surface. It is a cold layer because when there is increase in altitude than temperature goes on decreasing. This layer is mainly accessed by sounding rockets or rocket powered aircrafts.

4. Thermosphere -

It is the layer just above the mesosphere and is extending from 80km above the earth's surface to the outer space. It is a very hot layer, here the temperature may extend up to thousands of degrees.

Answer:

There are 4 major layers excluding exosphere

Explanation:

The atmosphere can be divided into layers based on its temperature.

Excluding the exosphere, the atmosphere has four primary layers, which are the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, and thermosphere.

It is a very hot layer, here the temperature may extend up to thousands of degrees
