It doesn't depend on temperature

Explanation:-

Diffusion current depends on temperature in polarography depends on capillary diameter ,lifetime of Mercury drop, change of electrolyte. Diffusion current also known as the limiting current it is when rate of electrolysis is controlled by the rate of diffusion species to the electrode.

According to illkovic equation used in polarography diffusion current is equal

i_{d} = k n D^{\frac{1}{3} } m^{\frac{2}{3} } t^{\frac{1}{6} } c

k is a constant

n is the number of electrons exchanged in the redox reaction,

D is the analyte diffusion coefficient,

m is the mass flow rate of Hg

c is depolarizer concentration in mol/cm3.

t is the drop lifetime in seconds,

So, we conclude that diffusion current is temperature independent.
