ureversing the numbers,

4*10x+x

................(2)

hence from given,

(2)-(1)=54

therefore,

(4*10x+x)-(10x+4x)=54

41x-14x. =54

27x =54

x=54/27

x=2

therefore,

10x+4x=10*2+4*2=20+8=28
