the digit at ones place in a two digit number is double the digit at tens place and the sum of the digits is 6. find the number​

The number exceeds the digits sum by 18. a = 2 i.e. the number at tens' place. We know that the 2nd digit number at ones' place is 2a = 2(2) = 4. Hence, the number is 24
