The original number will be 97

Explanation :

Let the digit at ten's place = x

and digit at one's place = y

so according to given conditions,

x = 2y - 5

=> x - 2y = -5....................eqn1

original number formed = 10x + y

Number formed by interchanging the digits = 10y + x

hence according to given conditions,

10x + y + 10y + x = 176

=> 11x + 11y = 176

=> x + y = 16

=> 2x + 2y = 32........eqn2

adding both the eqn we get,

3x = 27

=> x = 9

=> y = 16-x = 16 - 9 = 7

Hence the original number will be 10*9 + 7 = 97
