Let the digit at ten's place be y and digit at unit place be x

the digit at ten's place is three times the digit at the one's place
so y = 3x .....(1)
let the original no. be 10y + x ......(2)
and the reversed no. be 10x + y ........(3)

Adding (2) and (3)
(10y + x) + (10x + y) = 88 ....(given)
10y + y + 10x + x = 88
11y + 11x = 88
y + x = 8
(3x) + x = 8 ..... from (1)
4x = 8
x = 2
y = 3x
y = 3*2
y = 6

Putting values in (2)
we get 10(6) + (2) = 60 + 2 = 62.

hope this helps :)
