let the ten's digit no. is x
then,unit digit is 4x
now,
no.= 10×tens digit+unit digit
=10 × x + 4x
=14x
reversed no.=10×unit digit +tens digit
=10 × 4x + x
=41x
now,
=> 14x + 54 = 41x
=> 54 = 41x - 14x
=> 54 = 27x
=> x = 54/27
=> x = 2
now,
no.= 14x
= 14× 2
=28

let the two digit no is 10y+x
here given x= 4y....
the no obtained by reversing the digits
is= 10x+y
by question. .. (10x+y)-(10y+x)=54
or,9x-9y=54
or, x-y=6
or, 4y-y= 6
3y=6
y=2
x=4*2=8
the no is 10y+x=20+8=28
