the digit in the tens place of a two digit number is three times that in the unit place if the digits are reversed the new number will be 36 less than the original number

as tens place is three times the unit place
only 3 numbers numbers can be possible 31 , 62 & 93
because the next term ( which is 124 ) will be of three digits
now we can check by trial method
31 is not holding the condition because 31 - 36 is not equal to 13
62 is holding the condition as 62 - 36 is equal to 26 which is reverse of 62
93 is also not holding the condition
so the answer is 62.....
