Answer:

according to question let, the unit digit = x then the tens digit = 3x because according to question tens digit is 3 times of unit digit. now the number = 10(3x) + x = 31x put it eq'n 1 now , reversing the original number 10(3x) + x = 10x + 3x . 10x + 3x = 31x -36 . 36 = 31x -13x . next 36 = 18x . now x = 2 . put the value of x in eq'n 1 , 31(2)= 62 the original number obtained is 62

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the unit's place of the original no. be x ;then tenth place will be = tenth(3x) =  10(3x) = 30x

so the original no. is 30x + x = 31x

after interchanging the digits will be

unit's place = 3x

tenth place = tenth(x) = 10(x) = 10x

and the no. will be 10x + 3x = 13x

so ATP,

31x > 13x                                                                      [ (by 36) ( given)]

31x = 13x + 36

(31 - 13)x = 36

18x = 36

x = 36/18 = 2

therefore, the original no. is 31x = 31(2) = 62
