Let 3 digit be X, Y and Z
100X + 10Y + Z = 100Z + 10Y + X + 396
99 X = 99 Z + 396
X = Z + 4
Now,
X, Y and Z are in AP
Z = X + 2d
Z = Z + 4 + 2d
d = -2
So, it can be
972 & 279
864 & 468
And so on
864 and 468 have difference of 396
Thus number is 396
100X + 10Y + Z = 100Z + 10Y + X + 396
99 X = 99 Z + 396
X = Z + 4
Now,
X, Y and Z are in AP
Z = X + 2d
Z = Z + 4 + 2d
d = -2
So, it can be
972 & 279
864 & 468
And so on
864 and 468 have difference of 396
Thus number is 396
