Let

  • Ones digit be x
  • Tens digits be y
  • The number = 10y + x

To Find

  • The number = ?

Solution:-

  • The difference of two digits no = 3
  • X - y = 3 ------(i)
  • Digits reversing it sum = 77
  • 10y + x + 10x + y = 77
  • 11x + 11y = 77
  • Dividing by 11 on both sides

X + y = 11 -----(ii)

  • By adding eq we get

x - y = 3

x + y = 11

  • By Solving we get

2x = 14 => x = 7

  • Putting the value of x = 7 in eq 1

X - y = 3

7 - y = 3 => -y = 3-7 = > y = 4

Hence, the required no

= 10y + x

= 10×4 + 7 = 47

Thanks
