Let
- Ones digit be x
- Tens digits be y
- The number = 10y + x
To Find
- The number = ?
Solution:-
- The difference of two digits no = 3
- X - y = 3 ------(i)
- Digits reversing it sum = 77
- 10y + x + 10x + y = 77
- 11x + 11y = 77
- Dividing by 11 on both sides
X + y = 11 -----(ii)
- By adding eq we get
x - y = 3
x + y = 11
- By Solving we get
2x = 14 => x = 7
- Putting the value of x = 7 in eq 1
X - y = 3
7 - y = 3 => -y = 3-7 = > y = 4
Hence, the required no
= 10y + x
= 10×4 + 7 = 47
