l = 5 cm
b = 4 cm
and, h = 2 cm

So, Diagonal of Cuboid = √(l² + b² + h²)
                                      = √(5² + 4² + 2²)
                                      = √(25+16+4)
                                      = √(45)
                                      = 3√5 cm

The diagonal of a cuboid =3\sqrt{5}cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the dimension of cuboid = 5cm\times 4cm\times 2 cm.

∴ Length(l) = 5 cm, breadth(l) = 4 cm and height(h) = 2 cm

To find, the diagonal of a cuboid = ?

∴ The diagonal of a cuboid = \sqrt{l^{2} +b^{2}+h^{2}  }

= \sqrt{5^{2} +4^{2}+2^{2}}

= \sqrt{25 +16+4}

= \sqrt{45}

= \sqrt{3\times 3\times 5}

= 3\sqrt{5} cm

Hence, the diagonal of a cuboid =3\sqrt{5}cm.
