Total Surface Area of the Cuboid = 414 m²

To Find :

The dimensions of the Room.

Solution :

Let the dimensions in the form of x .

5x,3x,x

Now,

2(lh+hb+lb) = 414

2(5x*x+x*3x+5x*3x) = 414

2(5x²+3x²+15x²) = 414

2(23x²) = 414

23x² = 414/2

23x² = 207

x² = 207/23 = 9

x= √9

Now ,

Dimensions =

5x = 5×√9 = 5√9 m

3x = 3√9 m

x = √9 m
