Answer: volume of earth removed =

7.5 × 6 × 1.5

= 67.5 m³

Area over which it spread = 15 ×12 - 7.5 × 6

= 135 m²

Level rises = 67.5/135

= .5 m

Hence the total level rises = 0.5m
