Area of room =292 m square  

Area of window = Area of rectangle =l×b

=2×1=2 m square

There are 2 windows, total area =2×2=4 ms square

Area of door =l×b=3×1=3 m square.

∴ Area pf whitewashing room = Area room − [area of door + area of window]

=292−[4+3]=292−7

=285 sq meter  

Cost of whitewashing (at 50 per square meter )=285×50

Cost of whitewashing =14,250 Rupees
