The dimension of oil tin are 15×8×25cm.find the area of the tin sheet require for making 40 tin if 1sq of tin costs rupees 15 find the cost of tin used for these 40 tin

Given:
oil tin is cuboid
dimensions of oil tin( cuboid):15×8×25
l=15cm,b=8cm,h=25cm
total no.of tins= 40
To find:
¡)area of sheet required to make 40 tin
•)cost of 40 tins
solution:
t.s.a of cuboid= 2(lb+bh+hl)
=2((15×8)+(8×25)+(15×25)
=2(695
=1390cm^2
For 40 tins:
=1390×40=55600cm^2
¡) =55,600cm^2
For 1sq tin the cost is rupees 15
For 40 such tins:
=55600×15
•) =834,000rupees
