the dimensions of a cuboidal tin are 30 cm*40 cm* 50 cm. Find the cost of tin required for making 20 such tins, if the cost of tin sheet is ₹20 per square metre.

So here,
Given,
dimensions=30*40*50 cm³
Therefore, Surface area of the tin=2(lb+bh+hl) square unit
=2(30*40+40*50+50*30)cm²
=2(120+200+150)cm²
=(2*470)cm²
=940cm²
Therefore, Area of 20 such tins =
940*20 cm²=18800cm²

Therefore, Area in Metre=
=18800/100 m²
=188m²
Therefore, Cost of tin sheet=Rs 20*188=Rs3760
