The dimensions of a godown are 40 m x 25 m x 10 m. If it is filled with cuboidal boxes each of dimensions 5 m x 4 m x 2m, then the number of boxes will be​

We have

Length of godown = 40m

Breadth of godown = 25m

and height of godown = 10 m .

Therefore, volume of godown = l × b × h

40 × 25 × 10m^3

10,000 m^3

Now ,

Length of cuboidal box = 5m

Breadth of cuboidal box =4m

And heightof cuboidal box = 2m

Therfore , volume of cuboidal box = l × b ×h

5 × 4 × 2 m^3

40 m^3

Hence the number of boxes filled in the godown are 10,000 m^3 ÷ 40 m^3 = 250 boxes
