ANSWER
Given the dimensions of the room are,
8cm,6cm,5cm
Let, l=8cm,
b=6cm,
h=5cm
So, area of the 4 walls of the room=2×(l+b)×h
=2×(8+6)×5
=140cm
2
Hence, the cost of dis-tempering the 4 walls of the room at the cost of Rs.80 per square metre=140×80=Rs.11200.
