Answer:

In the rectangle

length=10m

breadth=6m

perimeter=2(6+10)=32cm

area=10×6=60m²

perimeter of rectangle= perimeter of square

perimeter of square with side a =4a=32cm

a=32÷4=8

area of square =8²=64m²

Ratio of areas=60/64=15/16

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Length=10 m

Breadth=6 m

Perimeter of rectangle=Perimeter of square

⇒2 (l+b)=4×side

⇒2 (10+6)=4×side

⇒2(16) m =4×side

⇒32 m=4×side

⇒side=32 m÷4

⇒side=8 m

⇒Ratios of thier areas=Area of square÷Area of rectangle ⇒side×side÷length ×breadth

⇒8 m×8 m÷10 m×6 m

⇒64 m²÷ 60 m²

⇒16/15

So ratios of their areas is 16/15 or 15/16.
