Answer:

96 boxes

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of cuboidal box = l x b x h

= 8x1.5x1

= 12 m³

volume of cubical box a³

(0.5m)³=0.125m³

now divide the volume of cuboidal box by the volume of cubical box

12/0.125 = 96

Therefore, the no. of boxes formed is 96

Step-by-step explanation:

length of rectangular log of wood = 8m =800cm

breadth of rectangular log of wood = 1.5m= 150cm

height of rectangular log of wood = 100cm

volume of rectangular log of wood = l× b×h

= 800×150×100

= 12000000cm³

The big rectangular log of wood cut out small cubical blocks whose edges is 50cm

Edge of 1 cube = 50 cm

volume of 1 cube = side³

= 50×50×50

= 125000cm³

no. of cubes = volume of rectangular log of wood

÷ volume of 1 cube

= 12000000 ÷ 125000

= 816 cubes
