The dimensions of a rectangular park are 100m and 90m. Two roads 5m wide cross as its centre point. Find the cost of levelling the road at the rate of 50 per square metre.

area of lawn=50*70=3500

area of path= (6*50)+(6*70)-(6*6)

=300+420-36

=720-36

=684m

cost of levelling=684*550/100

=$3420
