we know that volume of a rectangular object is length × breadth × height

given dimensions are length = 220cm, breadth = 185cm and height = 110cm

substituting we get volume = 220 × 185 × 110 = 4477000 cm³

⇒ volume of the rectangular tank = 4.477 m³

Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

Hence, volume of tank = 4.477 m^3.

● Explanation -

# Given -

l = 2 m 20 cm = 2.2 m

b = 1 m 85 cm = 1.85 m

h = 1 m 10 cm = 1.1 m

# Solution -

Volume of the rectangular water tank is -

Volume of tank = l × b × h

Volume of tank = 2.2 × 1.85 × 1.1

Volume of tank = 4.477 m^3

Hence, volume of tank = 4.477 m^3.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
