Answer:

Area of the four walls without the area of door and windows = 175.02 m²

Area of the celling = 80 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

For room,

Length, l = 10 m

Breadth, b = 8 m

Height, h = 5 m

Height of the door = 2.8 m

Width of the door = 0.75 m

Area of the door = height×width

                            = 2.8×0.75

                            = 2.1 m²

Length of window = 1.2 m

Breadth of window = 1.2 m

Number of window = 2

Area of two windows = 2×1.2×1.2

                                   = 2.88 m²

Area of the four walls = 2h(l+b)

                                    = 2×5(10+8)

                                    = 180 m²

Required area of the four walls = 180-(area of the door+area of windows)

                                                    = 180-(2.1+2.88)

                                                    = 175.02 m²

Area of the celling = l×b

                               = 10×8

                               = 80 m²
