The dimensions of a room are 112 cm by 900 cm. The floor of the room is to be covered by marble tiles, each measuring 24 cm by 24 cm. Find the total number of tiles required. What is the cost of tiling the floor at ₹.106 per tile?

Dimensions of Room =112 × 900 =100800

Dimension of Tiles =24 × 24 = 576

Then

Number of Tiles =100800/ 576

=175

Now cost of Tiles =175 × 106 = 18550.
