ARea to paint = LSA of room - Area of Walls and windows

LSA of room = 2h (l+b)

14 =l 10 = b   6.5=h

= 312 m^3

area of windows and walls

=lb

=1.5*1

=1.5

Two and four windows = 6

1.5*6 = 9

Area to paint

= 312 -9

=303 m^2

Rupees = 35 per m^2

=303 * 35

=Rs 10605

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

Rs 10500

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the wall =14 m

Breadth of the wall =10 m

Height of the wall =6.5 m

Area of the four walls = 2×6.5 (14+10) m^2

=> 13×24 m^2

=>312 m^2

Area of two doors => (2 × 2.5 × 1.2) m^2

=> 6 m^2

Area of the four windows => (4 × 1.5 ×1 ) m^2

=> 6 m^2

The walls have to be painted; the doors and windows are not to be painted.

Since, Total area to be painted => 312 - (6+6) m^2

=> 312 - 12 m^2

=> 300 m^2

Cost for painting 1 m^2 => Rs 35

Cost for painting 300 m^2 => 300 × Rs35

=> Rs 10500 .

Hence,cost of painting the four walls of the room is Rs 10,500.
