the dimensions of a tin box are 12cm×10.5cm×8cm . if 20 such boxes are to be made,find the area of the tin sheet requiredin m^2​

⇒  Dimensions of a tin box =12cm×10.5cm×8cm

⇒  Here, l=12cm,b=10.5cm,h=8cm.

⇒  Total surface area of the sheet =2(lb+bh+lh)

⇒  Total surface area of the sheet =2(12×10.5+10.5×8+12×8)

⇒  Total surface area of the sheet =2(126+84+96)=2(306)=612cm

∴  Area of the sheet required to make 20 tins =20×612=12240cm
