the dimensions of a wooden block are 2m x 0.25m x 0.10m. if the relative density of wooden block is 0.6, calculate the mass of block in S.I. unit if density of water is 1000 kg/m cube

sweety70: with which dimensions is the wooden block placed?
nishantbharadwaj446: no it is just placed the dimensions of wooden block are 2m x 0.25m x 0.10m
sweety70: it can be placed only with 2 dimensions na
sweety70: ohkk i understood

density =mass /volume

given
relativedensity of wooden block is 0.6

we know that rd of obj*d of water=d of obj
density of the object=0.6*1000
=600kgm³
volume =lbh
=2*0.25*0.10=0.05m³

mass =density *volume
mass=600*0.05
=30kg

mass of the block =30kilograms

hope helps,please follow me and Mark it as brainliest

abhi178: please check again
sweety70: 0.6 is relative density not density dear once check

the volume of the wooden block= l×b×h
=2m×0.25m×0.10m
=0.05m^3

relative density = density of the object/density of water
0.6=density of the object/1000kg/m^3
density of the object=0.6×1000
=600kg/m^3

density of the object= mass/ volume
600kg/m^3=mass/0.5m^3
mass= 600kg/m^3×0.05m^3
mass=30kg

hope it helps...

Praneethworldtopper: please check the value of volume, correct the mass
sweety70: yeah ive corrected
sweety70: thanks
