First we need to take out the area of the floor

Area of floor=l×b

=5×3

=15m

Area of tiles=l×b

=1×0.5

=0.5m

No. of tiles required

=total area÷area of one tile

=15÷0.5

=30 tiles

Therefore 30 tiles will be required
