area of door =  lenght x breadth

                      =  2.5 x 1

                        =  2.5m²

we have 2 doors so area of 2 doors = 2.5 x 2

                                                              = 5m²

lateral surface area of room = 2 × height × (length +breadth )

                                               = 2 x 7 x ( 12.5 + 9 )

                                                = 14 x 21.5

                                                = 301m²

area of room to be painted = Lateral surface area of room - area of doors

                                              = 301 - 5

                                              = 296m²

cost per square meter = ₹3.5

cost of 296m² = 296 x 3.5
