7650 Kg is the maximum load that this raft can carry in seawater so that the plank just floats in water

dimensions of wooden raft = 3.0 m x 3.0 m x 1.0 m

density of wooden material (ρ) = 150 Kg/m³

density of water (ρ)= 1000 Kg/m³

volume of the raft (v) = 9 m³

mass (m) = ρv

mass of the raft = 150 x 9 = 1350 Kg

load that water can bear in the = 1000 x 9 = 9000 Kg

maximum load of this raft = 9000 - 1350 = 7650 kg
