Let the numerator of the fraction be x.

Then Denominator=2x+1

Fraction = x/2x+1

Reciprocal of the fraction = 2x+1/x

It is given that the sum fo the fraction and its reciprocal is 2 16/21(mixed fraction)

after solving

we get x=3,-7/11

x can not be a negative

so x=3

so the fraction is 3/7
