Let

Nr = x , Dr = y

according to ques y = 4+x

x - 1 / (x + 4 + 1 ) = 4/3

3x - 3 = 4x + 20

x = -23

y = -23 + 4 = - 19

x/y = 23/19

Hope it helped you

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the fraction is x/y, x and y are co-prime numbers

x+4 = y

x-1/y+1 = 4/3

3(x-1) = 4(y+1)

3x-3 = 4y + 4

3x-4y = 7

3x - 4(x+4) = 7

3x - 4x -16 = 7

x= -23

y= -19

so the fraction is 23/19
