Answer:- he endosperm mother cell has two polar nuclei so it contains a total of 8 chromosomes. There are 7 cells in the embryo sac, one of which (the endosperm mother cell) contains 2 nuclei. The egg cell, 2 synergid cells and 3 antipodal cells each contain one nucleus with 4 chromosomes.

Answer:

your answer is here Ganesh...

If the meiocyte of a maize plant contains 20 chromosomes, then the number of chromosomes in the endosperm and the embryo of the maize grain are 30 and 20 respectively.

We know, if a meiocyte have 20 chromosomes then the gamete cell is half of it, i.e., 2n=20 or n=10, so the gamete will have 10 chromosomes.

And the endosperms are triploid in nature, i.e., 3n.

Therefore the meiocyte having 20 chromosomes have 30 chromosomes (3×10=30).

And we know, an embryo is diploid in nature, so the embryo of the maize grain will have 20 chromosomes (2×10=20).
