Since, the forces are in parallel direction to the sides of the equilateral triangle hence the components will so be along x and y axis.

So, the resolving components along x axis will be:

20N +  20N *cos 120 + 20N*cos 240

=  20 - 20* 1/2 - 20*1/2  =  0N.

  

Again the resolving components along y axis will be:-

= 20 N + 20N * √3 /2  -  20 N * √3/2.

= 20 Newtons.

So, the resulting magnitude will be √20^2 which will be 20 Newton.
