Ramanuja had two main disciples who are renowned in the Sri Vaishnava Sampradaya. Mudaliandan alias Dasharathi. He is Ramanuja's nephew, born to Ramanuja's younger sister Bhooma. Mudaliandan had the great fortune of being named by Ramanuja himself.
