Given,

The quadratic equation ax²-px+c² is given.

To find,

The discriminant of the quadratic equation

Solution,

The discriminant of the quadratic equation ax²-px+c² is p²-4ac².

The discriminant of the given quadratic equation can be found by using the Discriminant formula

D= b²-4ac

D= (-p)²-4(a)(c²)

D= p²-4ac²

Hence, the discriminant of the quadratic equation ax²-px+c² is(4) p²-4ac².
