Hi
F ( x ) = 2X^2 - 3X - 4
Here,a = 2,b = -3 and c = -4
Discriminant = b^2 - 4ac
By putting the value of a , b and c in above equation we get.
D = (-3)^2 - 4×2×-4
= 9 -4×-8
= 9 + 32
= 41
Hence discriminant of this quadratic equation is not equal to zero.
