RAF (Road accident fund)- Changes in scheme- According to new rule now compensation is not payable to those who are responsible for causing accident. For past medical cost, compensation will be provided as lump sum payment to the person who claimed for it. General damages are allowed to be claimed.

RABS- Changes in scheme- It has become a no- fault system now. Those who are responsible for causing accidents such as through drunk driving can claim for the compensation.
