Differentiate with dt
v = dx/dt = 18 + 10t
At t = 2s
v = 18 + (10 × 2)
v = 38 m/s
It’s instantaneous velocity at t = 2s is 38 m/s
At t = 3s
v = 18 + (10 × 3)
v = 48 m/s
Average velocity = (u + v)/2
= (38 + 48) / 2
= 43 m/s
Average velocity between t = 2s and t = 3s is 43 m/s
