displacement is equal to distance if the object has a steady velocity.

hence - s=(ut^2)*1/2at

u = 0

t = 4

a = 10

anything multiply with zero is nothing so we can eliminate ut^2 .

hence new formulae is

the distance with the gravity .

answer is 20

Answer:80 cm

Explanation:

GIVEN ACCELERATION= 10CM/S -2

TIME = 4 SECONDS

WE HAVE TO FIND THE DISPLACEMENT COVERED BY THE BODY IN 4s

S=UT+1/2 AT -2

s= 1/2 AT-2

s=1/2 10* 4*4

2S = 10*16 (SUBSTITUTING 2 ON THE DISPLACEMENT SIDE )

2S= 160

S=160/2

S=80 cm

hope it help you and others
