The displacement of a moving object in a given interval of time is zero would the distance travelled by the object also be zero give reasons for your answer

The displacement of a particle in a given time interval can be zero if the object returns to its original position but the distance travelled cannot be zero.
For example the body moving in a circular path, if the body completes one full circle then the displacement is zero but the distance travelled is given by the circumference of the circle. i.e 2πr.
