The displacement x of a particle along X axis is given by x=3+8t+7t^2 obtain it's velocity and acceleration at t=2s​

  • x = 7t² + 8t + 3
  • Velocity and acceleration at t = 2 is : ?

Velocity of the body :

  • v = dx/dt

So on differentiating,

⇒ v = d(7t² + 8t + 3)/dt

⇒ v = 14t + 8

Substituting t = 2,

⇒ v = 14(2) + 8

⇒ v = 28 + 8

⇒ v = 36 m/s

Acceleration of the body :

  • a = dv/dt

So on differentiating,

⇒ a = d(14t+8)/dt

⇒ a = 14 m/
