Velocity is the rate of change of displacement
Hence slope of OA will give Voa
Voa = Tan60°
=> Voa = √3

slope of AC will give Vac
Vac = -Vca
Vac =-( -Tan30°) ( ∵ tan (180° - θ) = - tan θ)
=> Vac = Tan30°
=> Vac = 1/√3
=> | Vac | = 1/√3
The ratio of magnitude of velocities of particle for two regions OA and AC (Voa/Vac) = √3 : 1/√3
= 3 : 1
